I’m really stepping outside of my comfort zone here. But when I saw the opportunity to try and style some cargo pants, I totally went for it. I used to hold myself back when it came to fashion and what I thought would look good on my body and what wouldn’t. A couple of years ago, I would have seen these pants and said, “HELL NO.” And maybe even a couple of months ago, I would have seen these photos and thought, “Ugh. Look at my tummy. These are DEFINITELY not getting published.” However, I am realizing that I have found a sense of comfort in discomfort when I step out of my self-imposed fashion boundaries—or maybe I’ve just stoped giving a f***. 🙂
Either way, I’m happy these gorgeous and fun Going on an Adventure Cargo Pants from Fashion Nova Curve. Sadly, the green ones have sold out, but they do come in a camel color, too. I will also include some cargo pants that are similar in the shop widget below, BUT ALSO: Check out these similar Cargo Pants: One & Two! I paired the cargo pants with what I thought was an unexpected choice, but this Arosa Tie Sleeve Sweater caught my eye, and I knew it had to go with this look. I topped the look off with some sexy, lace up heels, which I scored from Forever 21 two years ago and this beautiful Venus Bangle from Unbound. I recently discovered Unbound, and I am a huge proponent of the brand’s mission which is: to make sexual health and wellness a topic that women feel more comfortable and empowered talking about. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw me unbox this bracelet and a metal whip that ALO doubles as a necklace—SO exciting! What do y’all think about this look? And how do you push yourself out of your comfort zone when it comes to fashion?
SIZING INFO: I am wearing a size 2X in the Going on an Adventure Cargo pants, which is my usual size, and they fit perfectly. The material does not stretch at all, but these pants do have a baggy fit. I found them to be perfect.
