How can you be petite and plus size?
You may have noticed that I use the term "petite plus size" quite often around here. And that's because petite plus size perfectly describes my figure. I wear a size 18, which is plus size, and I am 5'2 tall, which makes me petite.
If you thought that the term "petite" meant short AND thin, don't worry... you're not alone. However, the term petite technically only refers to a person's height or the length of their limbs. Petite sizing doesn't stop at a size 14 or 16.
If you haven't heard the term petite plus size until just now, it's not because it doesn't exist, but more so because plus size clothing offerings are already very limited. Petite plus sizes do exist, but on a much smaller scale than they do for people who wear a size 12 and below.
If you're short and plus sizeโlike meโyou may be petite and plus size, too! My blog is dedicated to helping women like us find clothes that fit and feel fabulous. So, stick around!
