By now, you shouldn’t be surprised that I have been wearing more animal print than ever before. The previously shunned prints have made their way back into my life, and I have been loving how much life leopard adds to my wardrobe. Leopard is the must-have print of this season acting as both a neutral and a statement.

My boyfriend must have picked up on my new love for leopard because he surprised me with this outfit.

I’ve been dying to wear this suede jacket since I got it last month in preparation for fall, but Chicago has been in between 50° and 82° for the last couple of weeks. I was wishing for fall so hard, and well, Chicago must have been listening to me because we plummeted straight into winter. But hey, I’ve never been one to turn down a challenge.

So nonetheless, this weekend, I proudly put on this Alyssa Suede Jacket and paired it with this long sleeve Dolman Daze Mini Dress in Khaki, and not only was I looking chic and cute, but I was so warm.

This is hands-down one of my favorite looks of 2017.  I’m a sucker for a monochromatic look—and a gray one at that—and cute mini skirt looks with knee-high boots! YASS!!

This outfit makes me feel cute and sexy, all the while feeling warm, even though I’m wearing a skirt. My go-to trick when wearing skirts in winter is sporting some sheer tights with knee-high boots. While tights don’t provide a lot of coverage, they do keep me a little bit warmer than if I wasn’t wearing them.
