There are so many plus size brands that sell affordable, accessible, and trendy plus size office clothes. I currently hold many jobs that I have to get dressed for—and they are all vastly different. I work full time in aviation, and I’m also a college educator, a freelance SEO copywriter, and an influencer. So, it’s safe to say that I am always thinking about work wardrobes.

So as you could probably imagine, my office attire is mostly made up of black blazers, pants, and peplum tops. While I throw a dash of color or maybe a beige-colored garment, I rarely ever wear white…period. However, I recently got a white blouse in one of my Stitch Fix boxes, and I’m not sure if it was the unique cut of the blouse or the simple fact that I only own one other white shirt, but I kept it and made an effort to incorporate it into my wardrobe.

Throwing a pop (or a blast) of color into my work wardrobe with this Mustard Compression Blazer from Marée Pour Toi, which should help to brighten my day.

Is anyone else having winter blues when it comes to fashion? I sure am. Last night, I felt like a toddler as I threw a tantrum because I didn’t feel comfortable in anything I was wearing. Can someone tell me why it still isn’t acceptable for women to not wear a bra if they don’t want to?

I wore this to work, and I honestly have never felt more like a bad bitch than on that day. Let’s be real, this outfit…isn’t revolutionary, and it may not turn many heads. However, for me, it was a statement. These days, I wear leggings and loose knit sweaters to work…jeans if I somehow wake up on the right side of the bed (rarely). But these Suit Up High Waisted Tuxedo Trousers were form fitting, and boasted a tuxedo stripe and cute ankle details.

If I told you I was running for office, would you believe me (having only seen these photos)? Well, I’m not, but I feel like this would be the outfit I’d announce my candidacy in. And before you ask… Yes, a leather skirt is absolutely appropriate for that occasion….at least to me it is (hah). A girl could dream right?

Side note: PLEASE VOTE. I will be voting on November 6, and no matter your political stance or viewpoint, I urge you to exercise your right, and make a difference in this next election.

I have been dying to get my hands on one of these crazy button down shirts for a couple of years now. You know what I’m talking about, right? There are many variations of the style, but I have been loving the twists brands have been putting on the button down shirt. Eloquii was a brand that I thought had a few great tops incorporating this trend, but every time I tried one on, I was pretty disappointed because I felt like they never looked good on me.

I am constantly on the hunt for fashion-forward, well fitting, and comfortable clothing that I can wear to work. Sure, my go to black top, black blazer, and black pants never fails, but sometimes, I want to switch it up and sport a bold look into the office. But here is where I run into issues: A lot of plus size clothing is made for tall, plus size women. Everything I find from blazers to pants runs long on me, which means I either have to get things altered, roll up sleeves or pant ankles, or get creative with how I style the pieces.

Anyways, I understand that you get the point: Natalie is more than a blogger, she sits in an office for eight hours a day. heh. But as you could imagine, I love to dress up when I head into the office.

This is an outfit you can catch me wearing any day of the week at the office. I love keeping my work looks professional, but fun. Don’t get me wrong, I love an all black office look comprised of fitted slacks and a nice blouse. However, when I have the opportunity to create a thoughtful and out of the box work look, I’m doing it.

I usually achieve this balance by incorporating simple staples like this pair of Rebel Wilson x Angels dark skinny jeans with an unusual embellishments.

I spend most of my weekdays in the office—about 40 hours to be exact. So when I create an office look that I love, it’s a huge win because these are the outfits that I have to wear every day. Just because I have a dress code to follow at work, doesn’t mean that my outfits have to be boring and basic. For example, this ensemble totally adheres to my company’s dress code, but this electric yellow neoprene pencil skirt and the bell sleeves on this elbow flounce top from Eloquii fall far from average.
