Maybe I am coming around to lighter colors for my spring time ensembles. Or maybe this outfit was just a coincidence.
This morning I got a pedicure with Katherine, a.k.a Melony Melrose, and I chose to go with a white polish. Apparently the vibrant, colorless polish was the push I needed to get into the spring spirit.
While we are on the subject of my toes, these wedges from Dolce Vita are my favorite pair of shoes right now. The weaved texture gives the wedges something extra and they are pretty comfortable. This week, spring showers and fog are in the forecast for Chicago, so I may have to keep these wedges on the shelf a little longer. My white denim is from Forever 21. I bought the jeans last summer without the holes him. I wore the pair maybe once or twice until I realized that white pants are not the best look on curvy girls like myself. However, by making a couple of cuts, I noticed that I wanted to wear the pants more and they flattered my figure much better than before.
